Today is March 17! An extra special day in our house. It is not just St. Patrick's day but more importantly it is my baby Kiersten's 3rd birthday! We are extra lucky this year because Jake's big sister Christy and her kids are in town from Oklahoma! My little sister Heidi and her kids were in town also. I even managed to talk Tamara into pulling her kids out of school early today so we could play for even longer. Here we see all the cousins playing "Shamrock Shuffle" a fun little version of Musical Chairs! The kids had a blast and we all laughed 'til our sides hurt watching them. Emma as you can see is our little ham!
In reverse order here we see Kiersten blowing out her candles on her leprechaun hat cake I made and then smiling for the camera!
Shannon has started playing soccer. She had her first game on Saturday! She has only had one 30 min. practice before this and all they really did was kick the ball around some cones. They started her in goalie and the little monkey had no idea what to do. She didn't even know that she was allowed to pick up the ball. She was so nervous the night before the game she could hardly sleep. She asked me "Will they take it easy on me since this is my first game?" They ended up losing 0-8 but she had a great time! All the kids did. I was impressed with how good of sports the kids on her team are.
My Mom asked me to arrange some flowers for her last weekend. I am a beginner at this but I was thrilled with how good this one turned out!
Grandma Bobbie, Grandpa Morgan, Aunt Tena, Uncle Brock, Aunt Misty and Taylor all came and stayed at my folk's house a little while ago for the state basketball games. It was so fun to visit with everyone. Shannon and Aunt Misty totally bonded! It was so sweet watching them together!
Well that's it for me this time! The major things in my life are mentioned. My baby is three, lots of family in town, but I did forget to mention a very important happening. Only 4 more sleeps until Twilight the movie comes out! YEAH!!!!
